Using verbs other than "said" or "say"
My 5th graders created a paper quilt for 7th graders who will be taking the STAAR Writing Test next week.
Each student listed at least 10 verbs that could be used instead of 'said' (or 'say') then designed his or her quilt square with their favorite word(s) from the list.
